Manson is an unincorporated community in Chelan County in the state of Washington. It was named in 1912 for Manson F. Backus, president of the Lake Chelan Land Company. Manson is located in the north-central portion of the state on the shore of Lake Chelan, approximately seven miles from the nearby town of Chelan.
According to data from the 2010 census, the total population in Manson was 1,468 persons. 2010 was the first year that Manson was tracked by the census bureau.
